Quality Systems
Underpinning Broxton's reputation for consistent quality, cost-efficient components that arrive on time is a sophisticated manufacturing management system. This integrates all of our operational activities providing fast and accurate information flow throughout our organisation and out to our customers and suppliers.
Quality is at the core of our business and our quality system has been ISO approved for over ten years. Throughout the production process this system ensures all commercial and technical aspects are specified, measured and reviewed.
Although this system is central to producing right first time products, it is when it is combined with our top quality equipment and skilled people that the best results are achieved. We regularly deliver 100% on time and quality > 99.5%, even on high mix, low volume runs; and our customers testify to the level of customer satisfaction we achieve.
Laser Inspection
New electronic blank developments and first off blanks are inspected electronically using a High Speed Automated Laser Inspection System from Virtek. The state-of-the-art system replaces traditional vernier's and height gauges with 'virtual callipers' to make dimensional measurements quick and easy and rapid laser scanning validates blanks in less than 60 seconds.
Broxton is one of the first sheet metalwork subcontractors in the UK to invest in this system, which leads to significantly reduced machine down time and scrap. Because the process minimizes the possibility of any human error, production is made more cost-effective, with improved quality and OTD.
Environmental
Broxton Industries is commitment to protecting the environment and reducing the impact it has on it. Our management system observes all environmental laws and regulations and our goal is to minimize and, wherever possible, to eliminate the generation of all wastes and reduce energy consumption. Broxton, through close cooperation with suppliers, also complies with the EU's Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) and REACH directives.
