Why do we use nitrogen?
- We use it in our laser cutting process for the best edge quality
- Cutting with high purity nitrogen gives the cleanest edge with the best paint adhesion
- Alternatively, cutting with compressed air or oxygen leaves a carbon film on the cut edge which powder paint does not adhere to
Why do we generate nitrogen onsite as opposed to using transported liquid nitrogen?
- Generating nitrogen gas onsite costs less per m3
- Does not require road transport - Better for the environment
- Generators do not waste gas unlike liquid systems
